We are elated to announce that we are hosting a State level seminar on Women safety, titled, ' Women safety- Challenges and the road ahead'. The Seminar would be attended by girl students from every district of the state.The Seminar will be inaugurated by His excellency, the Governor of Karnataka, V.R. Vala. The chief guest will be Smt. Sudha Rao, Retired Vice Chancellor of Karnataka Open University, Mysore. The Seminar will be presided over by Smt. N. Shantakumari, Respected Mayor, Bangalore. The Opening address will be delivered by Dr. B.V. Vasanthkumar, State Vice-President, ABVP Karnataka.
In the wake of rising crimes against women in the state and nationally, it is our duty to address the issue and work towards building a society that is safe for our women. To address the issues it is necessary to dissect and understand the problems from every perspective, consult learned men and women and devise systems that are strong.
